Heineken has released a new commercial under the hashtag #SocialOffSocials, designed to inspire people to step away from social media and reconnect through genuine, in-person interactions. Introduced in collaboration with Joe Jonas and a host of influencers, the initiative responds to growing concerns over the digital fatigue experienced by many adults.

Titled “Social off Socials”, the 120-second spot opens with the American singer, songwriter, and actor traversing a bleak, post-apocalyptic world, where deserted streets stretch endlessly and rusting, abandoned cars stand as silent relics of a lost civilization.

A tattered newspaper, carried by the wind across the deserted streets, bears a stark headline: “It’s Over for Influencers.” The scene cuts to disheartened influencers, their screens glaring back at them with a cruel truth: 0 views, 0 likes, 0 comments, as the echo of their once-celebrated fame fades into silence.

But where have all the social media enthusiasts gone? It seems they’ve finally granted themselves a well-deserved break, gathering together over a cold beer at a cozy Heineken bar.

The soundtrack music playing in the commercial is a cover of “What a Wonderful World” is by Louis Armstrong.
