Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey make their return for the highly anticipated second season of the gripping drama series, based on Naughty Dog’s 2013 video game of the same name, “The Last of Us”.
The first season premiered on HBO on January 15, 2023, and was developed by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The action is set 20 years after a global fungal outbreak has devastated civilization, the story follows Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, who is tasked with smuggling Ellie Williams (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, across a post-apocalyptic United States.
The forthcoming installment of HBO’s acclaimed series is set to premiere on April 13, 2025.
The song playing in the trailer is “You Know You’re Right” by Nirvana, recorded in January 1994 and released posthumously in 2002 on the band’s self-titled compilation album Nirvana.
It was the last known song Kurt Cobain recorded with the band before his passing in April 1994.
