Prime Video has released the official red band trailer for the upcoming action series “The Bondsman”.
Kevin Bacon takes on the role of Hub Halloran, a once-formidable bounty hunter who meets a tragic end, only to be resurrected by the Devil himself for a dark and dangerous mission. Tasked with tracking down and returning fugitive demons to the depths of hell, Hub embarks on a supernatural journey filled with peril and redemption. Along the way, he uncovers the haunting truth about his own past misdeeds sins that led to his soul’s damnation. This revelation ignites a desperate quest for a second chance, not only to reclaim his life but also to rediscover love and pursue his passion for country music.
Created by Grainger David, the series also stars Jennifer Nettles, Jolene Purdy, Maxwell Jenkins, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant.
The soundtrack music in the trailer is “The Devil Ain’t Lazy” by American musician Pokey LaFarge, featured on his self-titled album released in 2013.
The song was originally written by Fred Rose and first recorded by Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys in 1947.
The supernatural series is scheduled to premiere this spring, on April 3.
