SkinnyPop has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Popular for a Reason,” aiming to expand its presence in the growing ready-to-eat popcorn market while showcasing new packaging and flavors.
The TV spot features Jennifer Aniston attempting to check into a hotel while enjoying a bag of SkinnyPop. Assuming the receptionist will recognize her, she skips introducing herself. However, to her surprise, the attendant enthusiastically exclaims she’s a huge fan, but of SkinnyPop. The receptionist struggles with the actress’s name, mistakenly searching for “Jennifer Anderson” or “Anne Iston” in the system. Eventually, overwhelmed by her love for the snack, she asks if she can have some. Even her colleague on a phone call indulges in SkinnyPop, leaving Aniston speechless.
The commercial wraps up with the tagline, “Popular for a reason.”
Speaking about the collaboration, Aniston shared, “When this partnership came up, it was so easy to say yes. I personally love SkinnyPop, and I was able to collaborate with a director I absolutely adore.”
