Royal Bank of Scotland showcases its dedication to teaching children about money and fostering financial literacy from an early age in its latest advertisement.
The ad follows a young boy inspired by his dad’s Rooster Money, who sets out to earn his own money by making and selling bracelets. He visits a store, purchases the necessary supplies using his smartphone, and then crafts dozens of bracelets. He sells them to classmates and people in town, eagerly checking his phone each time he receives a payment, proud of his progress toward his goal.
“We’re helping young people grow their money confidence,” the voiceover states at the end, followed by the tagline: “Royal Bank of Scotland. Tomorrow begins today.”
The soundtrack music is “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley, released in 1968.
