Netflix has dropped a trailer for the upcoming western television series Ransom Canyon, based on the Jodi Thomas series of books of the same name, and scheduled to be released on April 17, 2025.
Josh Duhamel takes on the role of the resolute and unyielding Staten Kirkland, the proud owner and lone resident of the vast Double K Ranch. With unwavering determination, Staten stands at the forefront of the battle to safeguard both his cherished land and the deeply rooted way of life that is increasingly under threat from external forces.
Minka Kelly portrays Quinn O’Grady, a woman who has often lived in the shadows of others. After spending time in New York pursuing her aspirations as a concert pianist, Quinn has made the decision to return to Ransom Canyon, where she is determined to forge a new path for herself and redefine her future.
Lizzy Greene, James Brolin, Eoin Macken, Marianly Tejada, Meta Golding, and Garrett Wareing also star in the series created by April Blair.
The song playing in the trailer is “Better When You’re Around” by Raphael Lake, released on 2023 as part of the album Modern Soul.
