Jamie is living up to his bad boy persona while staying safe with America’s #1 motorcycle insurer in Progressive’s latest commercial.
The 30-second spot begins with Jamie proudly informing his riding buddy that his motorcycle is now protected by America’s top motorcycle insurer. With excitement, he declares that they can now safely go wherever the wind takes them. As they put on their helmets and rev their engines, Jamie enthusiastically shouts, “Let’s ride!”, setting up the expectation of an epic highway adventure. However, it quickly becomes clear that their journey consists of everyday errands around town. They drop off books at the public library, pick up work gear from the dry cleaners, and stop for gas.
At the gas station, Jamie asks his friend to go inside without him, explaining that he and the owner are “not on speaking terms”. As Jamie starts talking to another man pumping gas, it turns out he and the gas station owner had an argument over cola refills, which are limited.
