Poppi, the American prebiotic soda brand celebrated for its “gut healthy” approach, premiered a full 60-second commercial during this year’s Super Bowl, introducing its prebiotic soda to millions of viewers.
The ad, titled “Soda Thoughts,” humorously addresses those moments of uncertainty when choosing a beverage, featuring various scenes where characters take their time deciding what drink to order. A woman with friends at a drive-thru, another at the pool, a man shopping at the grocery store, and a woman at a diner all find themselves contemplating their choices before being encouraged to select a Poppi.
The commercial includes appearances by comedian Jake Shane, influencer Alix Earle, and “Love Island USA” star Rob Rausch, showcasing Poppi’s features of just 5g of sugar, prebiotics, and “no baggage.”
The background music is “Groove Is in the Heart” by the American dance group Deee-Lite, released in August 1990 as their debut single from the album “World Clique.”
Poppi has collaborated with various celebrities in the past, including Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Billie Eilish, Russell Westbrook, Jennifer Lopez, and Olivia Munn. With their strong social media presence and celebrity partnerships, Poppi has emerged as the most popular soft drink on Amazon as of 2024.
