Tim Allen and Kat Dennings star in the upcoming ABC comedy series “Shifting Gears”, scheduled to premiere on January 8.
Matt, a widowed classic car restoration shop owner, faces his toughest challenge yet when his estranged daughter Riley (Played by Kat Dennings), and her teenage children, unexpectedly return to his life.
“I’m crawling home because I’m broke and need a place to stay until I figure out what the rest of my life looks like,” Riley is heard saying in the trailer.
The song playing in the trailer is “Life Is a Highway” by Canadian musician Tom Cochrane, released in 1991.
Directed by John Pasquin, the series also features Seann William Scott, Barrett Margolis, Maxwell Simkins, and Daryl Mitchell.
