Hyundai Motor has made history as the first auto brand available for purchase on Amazon Autos and is marking this groundbreaking partnership with a vibrant new marketing campaign. The campaign includes TV commercials, digital content, and social media initiatives that spotlight the convenience of Hyundai’s innovative “Add to Cart” experience.
The commercial is set in a bustling Amazon warehouse, where items of all kinds, from toy cars and drones to roller skates, trolleys, grills, dinosaur balloons, drones, and toy soldiers, spring to life from Amazon boxes. As the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe HEV Calligraphy emerges from a wooden crate, the playful products embark on an exciting chase after the car. However, their pursuit comes to an abrupt end when the Hyundai Santa Fe dives off a ramp, landing directly in the digital shopping cart of a customer casually placing an online order from the comfort of his bed.
The ad wraps up with the message: “Buy at Amazon. Pick up at a dealer,” followed by the tagline, “Hyundai. Now available at Amazon.”
Through this new program, car buyers across the U.S. can now browse, order, and finance Hyundai’s full range of vehicles directly on Amazon Autos. This includes popular models like the 2025 IONIQ 5, the IONIQ 6 sedan, and the soon-to-be-launched IONIQ 9. Once the purchase process is complete, customers can schedule a pickup from a participating Hyundai dealer.
Available in 54 markets nationwide, covering 71% of Hyundai’s total sales volume, the program is designed to offer a transparent, haggle-free car-buying experience. Customers benefit from familiar Amazon features, including seamless vehicle trade-ins, financing options, and the ability to complete paperwork online, making the process intuitive and efficient.
The song playing in the commercial is “Knight Rider” by The Hollywood Prime Time Orchestra, a cover of the iconic theme music from the 1982 television series Knight Rider, originally composed by Stu Phillips and Glen A. Larson.
