Netflix has launched the official trailer for the upcoming Turkish drama series “Lovers Anonymous”, set for release on January 16, 2025.
Cem (played by Halit Ahmet Ergenç, renowned for portraying Sultan Suleiman I in Muhteşem Yüzyıl), deeply scarred by a childhood that shattered his faith in love, runs the “Love Hospital.” However, his life takes an unexpected turn when Hazal, a firm believer in the transformative power of love, enters his world and disrupts everything he once believed.
“Love is a disgusting thing. It trickles down the walls like a pink, slimy, disease-ridden liquid. Diamond rings, pop music, songs with no depth, oversatured with corny emotions. A banality that robs people of their depth. A yucky mess that strings you along with promises of happiness, but then messes up your life,” Cem is heard saying in the trailer.
Directed by Umur Turagay the series also star Funda Eryigit, Selin Cuhadaroglu, and Riza Kocaoglu.
