The Front Room (A24 Movie) Trailer Songs

A24 has launched the official trailer for the upcoming horror movie “The Front Room”.

The plot centers around Belinda (played by Brandy), a young, newly pregnant woman who is compelled to take in her estranged, ailing grandmother. As the story unfolds, the woman begins to experience unsettling and terrifying events, which likely stem from the grandmother’s presence and past.

“Being cooped up with a newborn and a mother-in-law can drive anyone crazy” Belinda is heard saying in the trailer.

The songs playing in the trailer are the English version of “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” by Édith Piaf and “Oh Happy Day”.

“Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” is a famous French song performed by iconic singer Édith Piaf, released in 1960.

“Oh Happy Day” is a gospel music arrangement of an 18th-century hymn. The version most widely known and celebrated was recorded by the Edwin Hawkins Singers in 1967. This recording became a hit in 1969, reaching the top of the charts in several countries and earning a Grammy Award for Best Soul Gospel Performance.

The Front Room is scheduled for release in the United States on September 6, 2024.
