The 30-second spot begins with a mother informing her teenage daughter, who is all set for prom with her date, that The General will be accompanying them for the ride. The daughter isn’t thrilled by the news, but her mom points out that he provided them with a discount on their car insurance and will also ensure their safety. “Yes, with flexible payment options for new drivers,” explains The General. When the girl questions why Shaq is coming along, he responds, “To show you how it’s done.”

The scene then shifts to the dance floor, where Shaq and his companion dazzle with their dance moves to the beats of DJ Snake’s “Westside”.

O’Neal has appeared in numerous advertisements for The General.
