Renault UK introduces its Renault Captur E-Tech full hybrid in a captivating advertisement titled “Reasons to Buy a Car Have Changed”.
The spot, set to the energizing beats of Paul Engeman’s 1983 hit “Scarface (Push It To The Limit)”, showcases a series of vignettes illustrating the evolving motivations behind car purchases, ranging from a desire for style and success to the pursuit of power.
The ad opens with a scene titled “Style is never late,” featuring a man arriving fashionably late to a date in his convertible Renault. It then transitions to a successful businessman, also a Renault owner, leisurely playing golf while his personal assistant attends to his calls. Other scenes feature a woman striking poses near a Renault during a photoshoot and a man chased by two helicopters outrunning them with the speed of his Renault and utilizing a tunnel to make his escape.
Following an onscreen statement that “reasons to buy a car have changed,” the spotlight shifts to the Renault Captur E-Tech full hybrid, showcasing its sleek design elements including a glossy black rear skirt, warm titanium accents on the F1 splitter and exhaust pipes, exclusive E-Tech engineered label features, and the striking black and gold E-Tech badge adorning the rear.
The advert also informs that the Renault Captur E-Tech full hybrid boasts an impressive range of up to 630 miles, over 18 advanced driver-assistance systems, the openR link system integrated with Google, and access to over 50 apps.
The hybrid vehicle seamlessly combines a petrol engine with two electric motors and a small battery, effectively reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Its innovative charging system harnesses energy recovered during braking phases, eliminating the need for external recharging.
The Captur E-Tech full hybrid 145 is available for purchase, starting from £24,895, with an enticing 0% APR offer on Personal Contract Purchase.
