McDonald's Menu Song Remix Lil Yachty Commercial

Lil Yachty has put his spin on McDonald’s iconic “Menu Song” from 1989 as part of a new campaign for the fast-food giant.

Created by Cosette, the campaign features the hip-hop recording artist delivering a remix of the classic tune, listing off numerous items from the McDonald’s menu such as the Big Mac, McWrap, McDouble, McFlurry, crispy chicken, nuggets, golden fries, Junior Chicken, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Fillet-O-Fish, Egg McMuffin, Apple Pie, hash brown, hotcakes, vanilla cone, and more.

The “Menu Song” remix, also available in a 90-second version, will be broadcast in both English and French across various platforms including TV, Spotify, Twitch, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, and digital media.

Rebecca Smart, the client marketing director, stated in a press release, “We thought it was the right time to revive this classic in a way that was relevant to our Gen Z audience, while at the same time allowing Gen X to hear this remix and remember something that resonated in their own formative years.”

Additionally, McDonald’s has introduced four new fan-inspired Remix Menu items for a limited time: Chicken Cheeseburger, Sweet Chili Junior Chicken, Surf ‘N Turf Burger, and Apple Pie McFlurry. These items are available at select restaurants, through the McDonald’s app, via Drive-Thru, or for McDelivery.
