Apple TV has released a trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller series adapted from the bestselling novel by acclaimed author Blake Crouch, Dark Matter.
Regarded as one of the finest sci-fi works of the decade, Dark Matter delves into the intriguing concept of alternate realities. The narrative revolves around Jason Dessen (portrayed by Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor, and devoted family man. His life takes a drastic turn one fateful night in the streets of Chicago when he is mysteriously abducted into an alternate version of his own existence.
What begins as a fascinating exploration soon descends into a nightmarish ordeal as Jason grapples with the perplexing array of potential lives he could have led. Amidst this labyrinth of alternate realities, he embarks on a perilous quest to reunite with his true family and confront the most formidable adversary imaginable: himself.
Dark Matter boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly (as Daniela Dessen), Alice Braga (as Amanda), Jimmi Simpson (as Ryan), Dayo Okeniyi (as Leighton), and Oakes Fegley (as Charlie Dessen).
