A24 has released the final trailer for “Civil War”, the action movie that premiered in March 2024.
In a not-so-distant future, the United States finds itself embroiled in a rapidly intensifying multi-party civil conflict, with the nation transformed into a dystopian regime under the leadership of a President serving an unprecedented third term. Amidst this turmoil, Lee (played by Kirsten Dunst), a seasoned and respected photojournalist, comes to the aid of Jessie (portrayed by Cailee Spaeny), a young photographer who admires Lee, saving her from a bombing in New York City.
“All across America, critics are raving about the movie event of the year.” the voiceover is heard saying in the trailer.
The song featured in the “Civil War” trailer is “Don’t Get Captured” by Run The Jewels, from the RTJ3 album, released 2016.
Civil War features an exceptional ensemble cast, including Cailee Spaeny (as Jessie), Stephen McKinley Henderson (as Sammy), Nick Offerman (as the President of the United States), Sonoya Mizuno (as Anya), and Edmund Donovan as Eddie.
