The film follows Boy (played by Bill Skarsgård), a deaf and voiceless young man, searching for revenge, after his family is brutally murdered by the Van Der Koys.
The trailer opens with Skarsgård saying “This was never a great city. But it was ours. Until Hilda Van Der Koy took it from us. This is how she keeps control. They call it {The Culling}.”
He made a three step plan “Step one. Give myself an inner voice. I took the last one I remembered from this video game. Step Two. Get stronger.
A lot stronger. And step three, join a team”.
After beying trained by a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death, he is finally ready for the last step and joins a resistance group with the same objectives, make the Van Der Koys pay for what they have done.

The soundtrack music playing in the Boy Kills World movie is “It’s Oh So Quiet” by Betty Hutton. The song is a cover of the German song “Und jetzt ist es still”, composed by Hans Lang.
Boy Kills World is scheduled for release in the United States on April 26, 2024.
