The wait is over! Popeyes has dropped a teaser for its upcoming Super Bowl commercial, introducing Ken Jeong as a frozen man since 1972,
a man willing to do what it takes to finally taste perfection.
“52 years ago, one man chose to wait for perfection…” – onscreen lines read through the 15-second spot.
“What would you do if you were born in a time that hadn’t yet mastered the chicken wing?” is the question raised by the teaser, and the cryogenic hibernation capsule may be the right answer in this case.
The song playing in the 2024 Popeyes Big Game commercial is “Also sprach Zarathustra” composed in 1896 by Richard Strauss, the main theme of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
