State Farm has unveiled a set of fresh advertisements as part of its new “The Right Kind of Magic” campaign, with one particularly star-studded featuring Caitlin Clark, Jimmy Butler, and Reggie Miller.
The 30-second spot kicks off with a couple inspecting their car, realizing it sports a dented bumper. The woman, visibly distressed, exclaims, “Shoot!” At that moment, Caitlin Clark makes an entrance, poised to shoot. She quips, “Ok, I’ll shoot, but I don’t see any hoop,” addressing the perplexed couple. The Miami Heat star, Jimmy Butler, magically appears, too, as the woman utters the “S” word again. Together, they assist the car owners by harmonizing the State Farm jingle, summoning Jake, who informs them that State Farm makes it easy to file a claim on the app for a new car or even for an old pacer. As Jake concludes his statement, the legendary Indiana Pacers player Reggie Miller joins the group. Holding a basketball, he casually asks, “Someone called for an old Pacer?” leaving everyone momentarily stunned.
The commercial wraps up with the voiceover stating, “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.”
State Farm’s newest ad campaign, titled “The Right Kind of Magic” and developed to refocus attention on the insurance brand’s iconic jingle, also features Milwaukee Bucks teammates and identical twins Brook and Robin Lopez, rapper Ludacris and Jimmy Fallon.
