Nespresso has unveiled a new commercial featuring George Clooney alongside Julia Garner and Simone Ashley, aiming to showcase the diverse array of flavors and styles offered by Nespresso’s Vertuo range.
The advertisement kicks off with the renowned George Clooney, a longstanding global brand ambassador for Nespresso, reluctantly handing over his parking ticket, revealing the aftermath of a lost bet. The narrative then transports viewers back to a party where Clooney and Julia Garner engage in a lighthearted competition, attempting to guess the coffee style preferences of fellow attendees. When Simone Ashley approaches the coffee table to select a pod, Clooney predicts she’ll opt for an “Intenso.” However, Garner wins the bet by accurately predicting Ashley’s choice as “Ice Leggero.” Passing by, Ashley reminds Clooney to recycle, alluding to the brand’s recyclable pods.
As the story unfolds, it becomes apparent that Garner and Ashley collaborated to orchestrate Clooney’s loss in the bet, leaving him stranded in front of the building with a pink helmet and Garner’s less glamorous vintage scooter.
