Renault runs a new ad in the UK for its new Renault Clio E-Tech full hybrid.

Titled “Same love, new energy”, the spot shows the new full hybrid vehicle as it gets everyone’s attention wherever it is. People are shown looking after the car, which now proudly features daytime-running lights in a half-diamond shape evoking the design of the new Renault logo/
The soundtrack is provided by “Oh L’amour”, a song by English synth-pop duo Erasure, released in April 1986 as their third single and included on their debut studio album, “Wonderland”.

Renault’s E-Tech full hybrid system gives drivers the best of both worlds: efficiency with a total power output of 145hp. Around town the system prioritises electric power, with no need to plug the Clio E-Tech full hybrid in because recharging is done while the car is braking or decelerating. That means no searching and then waiting at the charging point. Moreover, thanks to the combination of petrol engine and battery power at higher speeds, up to 550 miles is possible on one tank of fuel, equating up to 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 96g/km.

The specification not only includes such items as a heated steering wheel and heated seats, but also up to 17 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to assist in making journeys as safe as possible.

There are three versions of the new Renault Clio E-Tech full hybrid: evolution, techno and esprit Alpine, the latter readily distinguishable by its unique design elements inside and out, including 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a matte shadow-grey F1 blade and unique badging, and a higher level of specification.
