Apple Christmas Commercial Girl / Actress - Feat. Curly Haired Woman Making a Stop Motion Video

Apple has revealed its Christmas-themed commercial for 2023, produced in collaboration with TBWA\Media Arts Lab and animation production company Passion Pictures.

The heartwarming short film, titled “Fuzzy Feelings”, follows an animator who, during her spare moments away from her office job, works on a holiday-themed video. Using her iPhone 15 Pro Max and MacBook Air, she creates a stop-motion video featuring a character resembling her grumpy boss, who is shown scolding her for tardiness, assigning last-minute tasks, and generally exuding misery at the office. At home, she channels her feelings by portraying him in comical predicaments, such as stealing from a charity box, being surprised by Christmas lights, losing his trousers to the wind, and getting covered in snow on the street.

However, a shift occurs when her boss distributes handmade holiday gifts, revealing a more compassionate side. Witnessing this and spotting him, one night, having dinner alone in a restaurant, she transforms her animation into a more positive portrayal and even gifts him a companion, a cute dog she makes from one of the socks she received from her boss.

The accompanying soundtrack is set to “Isn’t It a Pity,” a song by English rock musician George Harrison from his 1970 solo album, “All Things Must Pass.”

In the official description for the video, Apple conveys a message about the transformative power of creativity: “Creativity has the power to change the way we see each other, and the world. Sometimes, seeing things through a new lens can make all the difference. You make the holidays.”
