Airbnb showcases another trip of the millions of trips made possible by Airbnb Categories in its latest ad.
The spot is a montage of photos taken by photographer Joyce Kim at the Gateway Retreat, a luxurious guest home situated on 23-ac in Gallatin Gateway, twenty minutes from downtown Bozeman, where she and her friends spent a weekend. “It was the perfect rustic weekend, filled with hikes through the Bridger Mountains, epic snowballs fights, and time spent by the fire,” Airbnb wrote in the description for the video, which is soundtracked by Dinah Washington’s song “What A Difference A Day Made”.
The resort has approximately 1500 sf of living area plus 600 sf of covered/open deck, a breezeway-attached 2-car garage and is furnished with custom, handcrafted Western Rustic furniture throughout, including leather sofa, top-of-the line appliances and cookware, Traeger Smoker grill, Weber propane grill, rustic dining set plus matching Adirondack chairs on covered deck, DishTV in living room and both bedrooms, StarLink WIFI and computer desk.
The “Made possible by Airbnb Categories” campaign highlights a variety of distinct categories, such as “Skiing,” “Lakefront,” “Amazing Pools,” “Farms,” “OMG!” “Castle,” and several others. Airbnb extended invitations to photographers to embark on Airbnb trips with their loved ones, selecting accommodations from a diverse set of these newly introduced categories. They were tasked with capturing their stay through photographs and then sharing them with Airbnb. The images have been meticulously edited by Airbnb, complemented by familiar songs, to convey the exceptional and distinctive travel experiences made achievable by these innovative categories.
