Samsung encourages you to express all your emotions with the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 in its latest commercial for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5.
The spot, part of the brand’s “Join the flip side” campaign, features a diverse cast of individuals folding their phones and unfolding their feelings as they get good or bad news, a certain phone call or level up at their favorite game. A woman whose boyfriend cancels their date folds it with anger, a young man ready for a weekend trip gets a phone call from the office and, after agreeing to work, folds the phone disappointed and frustrated, and another man folds it while watching a horror movie.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip5 in August 2023, at its Samsung Unpacked event, along with other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold5 and more. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a flexible 6.7-inch internal display, a 3.4-inch external display, which is now called the Flex Window and its three times the size of the external display on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, a 10MP front camera, 12MP rear cameras, 10MP selfie camera and a 700mAh battery that charges up to 50% in 30 minutes.
The device is available in Mint, Graphite, Cream, Lavender, Gray, Blue, Green, and Yellow, at prices starting from $1000.
The Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung’s thinnest and lightest Fold yet, features a speedy Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 12GB RAM, superfast UFS 4.0 storage, a slimmer new Flex hinge, which allows the Fold 5 to close fully flat, a 6.2-inch AMOLED panel with 48-120Hz refresh rate and HD+ (2316×904) resolution, and a brighter main 7.6-inch QXGA+ folding screen (this is now up to 30% brighter and can reach a peak brightness of 1,750 nits, according to the brand). The device is available in 256GB and 512GB configurations. There is a 1TB model, as well, but it is exclusive to Samsung’s online store in the US. The starting price is set at $1800.
Samsung now gives its customers the chance to save thousands on some of the products, as part of the Samsung Fall Save event, taking place from September 11 through September 17. Shoppers can save up to $1370 with select Galaxy Fold5 512GB, including a free storage upgrade, $50 instant Samsung Credit, and more. They can also save up to $1100 on Galaxy Tab9 Series, up to $900 on select washers and dryers, and up to $1000 on select Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs.
