Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Spanish movie Nowhere, starring Anna Castillo and Tamar Novas.
Directed by Albert Pintó, the film revolves around a pregnant woman named Mia who hides in a maritime container aboard a cargo ship in her attempt to escape from her devastated totalitarian country. Alone and drifting in the sea, she gives birth to the child after a violent storm and must fight to survive.
The trailer shows how she ends up alone in the container and struggles to remain alive. After she gives birth to her baby, in terrible conditions and pain, Mia tries to take the water out and, eventually, manages to get on the container, as the video reveals.
Based on a screenplay by Indiana Lista, the survival thriller film will be made available on Netflix on 29 September 2023.
