Jeep highlights that there are no dents or scratches, but only memories, in its latest commercial for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe.
The spot tells the story of a Jeep owner who recalls important moments of his life, which also involved his car, which got some dents and scratches in the process. He remembers the way he proposed to his wife, the moment he showed his little daughter their newest family member, a dog (that took a bite from the upholstery while waiting in the backseat to be found), and the moment he hit the car, during an offroad ride, confident that he won’t hit a branch, despite his wife’s warning.
Scored by John Coggins’ 2017 single “Little Moments”, the commercial ends with the onscreen line “There are no dents or scratches. Only memories” and with the protagonist handing the car keys to his daughter, who’s now grown up and able to drive the car herself. “There are more memories ahead” another line reads.
