Apple has released a series of new ads for its newly unveiled iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, introducing them as the brand’s “most powerful Pro models ever”.
One of the spots begins like an action movie scene, with the protagonist, chased by several cars, jumping over a guardrail with one of her arms in flames. It soon turns out this is a movie scene filmed with the new Titanium iPhone 15 Pro, buil with an aerospace-grade material: titanium.
The voiceover also introduces the smartphone as a new level of mobile gaming power and a camera that can literally shoot a blockbuster movie.
The new Pro camera system pushes the limits of what’s possible on a smartphone, giving photographers the equivalent of seven pro lenses ranging from 13 mm on the Ultra Wide camera to 120 mm on the 5x Telephoto camera on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Filmmakers can now record video in ProRes 4K at 60 fps directly to an external drive. The addition of a USB-C connector brings superfast USB 3 transfer speeds, along with support for pro formats that massively improve the workflow between shooting and post-production.
The new design also includes a customizable Action button for quicker access to your favorite feature. And the A17 Pro chip with a 6-core GPU introduces a whole new level of immersive mobile gaming performance.
Another spot, titled “Shot on iPhone 15 Pro”, highlights that Olivia Rodrigo’s anthemic music video for “get him back!” has been shot entirely on the new iPhone 15 Pro using features like Pro Res 4K Log and USB-C external drive compatibility. And 5x zoom on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
