EasyJet Get Out There Advert Song – Feat. Mona Lisa, Girl with the Pearl Earring, David & The Thinker

EasyJet Get Out There TV Advert - Feat. Mona Lisa

European airline and holiday provider EasyJet invites people to “Get out there” in its latest commercial, which features some iconic art characters doing just that.

Created by VCCP, the spot opens with a schoking scene occured at the famous museum Louvre, from Paris, where the Mona Lisa painting can be viewed. However, Mona Lisa left her frame. Passport in hand, she checks in for an easyJet flight with a boarding pass, willing to visit Athens.

Other crowd-drawing objects of art, such as the Girl with the Pearl Earring, David, The Thinker and even a couple of cherubs, are then shown as tourists themselves, enjoying the best that Europe has to offer, from sunbathing on the beach to taking a road trip up the coast.

“Get out there” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is set to the rhythms of a catchy Italian song, whose lyrics include “chi sei ma che vuoi gira a largo da me, non sai che oramai e finita con te, tu sei quella che…”.

The living paints and statues have not been digitally created but played by real people, cast from across Europe, EasyJet informed.

The campaign is supported by a series of stills and social media content and is set to run across multiple platforms including TV, BVOD, Online, DOOH, Display and Social and across EasyJet’s key markets UK, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal.

Gabriella Neudecker, customer and marketing director at EasyJet, said: “We are so excited about our new brand platform. With this campaign we have redefined the role of advertising at easyJet and taken it back to fundamental marketing principles. We know travel is a category where distinctiveness is a challenge, and we think this work makes easyJet more emotional and memorable than we’ve ever been before.”
