AT&T has dropped a new commercial to highlight that you can pre-order a brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and trade-in your old Galaxy.
The spot, titled “Great Estimations”, is set in the 1850s and features a man willing to sell his 2015 Samsung Galaxy at an auction. He shows his phone to a man who’s surprised to see the device and declares that it’s “an interesting piece”. He then brings in his expert, played by AT&T spokeswoman Lily, who makes a comment about the amount of scratches on the phone. When the owner says they’re from his car keys, she exclaims that it’s such a rich history. Lily informs the man that his smartphone won’t do well at auction, but at AT&T it’s worth the brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5. The owner is delighted to hear that and the other man is delighted, too. He even asks Lily if his own device can be taken into consideration.
At the end of the commercial, the voiceover urges viewers to pre-order Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 with the Galaxy phone trade-in, any year, any condition. An onscreen line informs that this deal is valid when you buy on a qualifying installment plan with an eligible AT&T unlimited plan (min. $75/month before discounts).
Unveiled earlier this month, during the Samsung Unpacked event, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a flexible 6.7-inch internal display, a 3.4-inch external display, which is now called the Flex Window and its three times the size of the external display on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, a 10MP front camera, 12MP rear cameras, 10MP selfie camera and a 700mAh battery that charges up to 50% in 30 minutes.
The device is available in Mint, Graphite, Cream, Lavender, Gray, Blue, Green, and Yellow, at prices starting from $1000.
