Sports fans rejoice, because one of cricket’s most action-packed events, The Hundred, returns on 1st August. Compare the Market will be there, too, to entertain families with fun surprises throughout the competition. The platform has recently released a video explaining The Hundred, a sporting event awaited by thousands of fans. “8 teams go head to head across the UK, with 100 balls per team. The team with the most runs wins. Friends, family, fun and fur, DJs and live music at every game. Meerkats and a wombat,” onscreen lines read throughout the video.
Carl the Wombat became a regular since earlier this year, when he was introduced as Aleksandr’s nephew. When he arrived at the airport, he
gave his uncle a yellow frog as a gift, but the frog jumped into Sergei’s hands and the latter was taken away by FBI officers.
In another spot, he was shown serving Aleksandr and Sergei with a super special soup, as a way of thanking them for letting him stay. Impressed by his gesture, Aleksandr praises the soup for its color and asks Carl about the ingredients. The latter, who said he spent all day making this meal, explains that he used onion, garlic, and a pint of chilli powder. After tasting it, Aleksandr falls off the chair and ends up in an ambulance that takes him to the hospital. While his uncle is connected to milk perfusion, Carl checks the recipe once again and realizes he should have used a pinch of chilli powder, not a pint.
