Chevrolet promotes the upcoming Barbie movie in a new commercial, urging viewers to watch the movie in theaters.
The spot features Barbie, played by Margot Robbie, being shocked to see the 2024 Blazer EV SS. America’s Ferrera ‘s character, who’s behind the wheel, stops the car and asks her to get in, which she does.
“One legendary icon deserves another. The future of Chevy electric SUVs has arrived,” the voiceover says in the 30-second ad, urging viewers to see Barbie only in theaters July 21st and experience the all-new Chevy Blazer EV SS.
The soundtrack music is “Speed Drive” by Charli XCX.
The Blazer EV features a GM-estimated electric range on full charge of up to 320 miles. When enabled, Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving help convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into energy stored in the battery for later use to help get the most range. The vehicle also boasts WOW (which stands for Wide Open Watts), a groundbreaking feature that takes you from 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds.
Its all-new body architecture supports the multiple range options along with three available drive systems: front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive.
The interior has an 11-inch diagonal Driver Information Screen and a 17.7-inch diagonal display screen. Hands-free start system, wireless charging, Super Cruise driver assistance technology are among other available features.
The automaker offers an 8-year/ 100,000 miles Battery Warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile Roadside Assistance, including 24/7 toll-free phone assistance, 12-volt battery jump start and vehicle unlock service.
