Apple has dropped a series of new ads for its iPhone 14 Plus.
One of them, titled “Battery for Miles”, features a man clad in a black jacket over a white button down and wearing a brown Fedora atop his head, slowly driving a red tractor, which hauls a massive pumpkin. His iPhone 14 Plus is mounted on the tractor, before him, and in the background the song “Two Miles An Hour” by Ludacris plays. Off to site, a lone cow watches the tractor pass. The man’s face is expressionless and unchanging, though. At some point, he peers down at his phone, which has Google Maps displaying a road straight ahead, then looks back up at the road. “For 102 miles continue straight,” the robot says.
The commercial ends with the onscreen line “Our longest lasting battery life ever” and the tagline “Relax, it’s iPhone 14 Plus”.
The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, available for purchase from $799 or $33.29/mo. for 24 months before trade‑in, feature Ceramic Shield, which is tougher than any smartphone glass, A15 Bionic chip, pro-level camera that lets you take sharper, smarter, snappier selfies, Emergency SOS via satellite, Crash Detection, and more.
Consumers can now get $200–$640 in credit toward iPhone 14 when they trade in iPhone 11 or higher, save up to $800 on iPhone 14 with carrier deals at Apple, Pay 0% APR over 24 months with Apple Card (they must choose Apple Card Monthly Installments when they check out).
