Heinz continues its “It Has To Be Heinz” campaign with a new installment, based on true events from the internet, social media, and news articles.
The spot depicts a variety of life scenarios in which the protagonists can’t give up their favorite Heinz products. One man, for instance, is shown using Heinz ketchup on his steak in a fancy restaurant, a woman is shown getting a tattoo in the shape of a Heinz ketchup bottle, and another woman is shown stealing a small bottle of Heinz ketchup on her way out of a hotel, and a chef in a sushi restaurant is left speechless by a customer who pours a lot of ketchup on his dish. Various cars from across the world are featured with Heinz-related numbers and other Heinz-themed tattoos are shown, as well.
The song used in the ad is the 2000 single “It’s Love” by Chris Knox, a rock and roll musician from New Zealand, from gus 2000 album, “Beat”.
