Walmart has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Welcome to Your Walmart”, to promote its delivery services.
One of the spots raises the question “How many strawberries can one child eat?” and features a little girl enjoying strawberries throughout a bright summer day. The video also cuts to a customer using the Walmart app to purchase various groceries, including lots of strawberries.
“A week of groceries. And 5 minutes of strawberries.” onscreen lines read at the end of the 15-second commercial, which is set to the tune of Shirley Ellis’ 1965 single “I See It, I Like It, I Want It”.
Walmart has also been promoting its Walmart+ servive, which lets members save on free delivery, Paramount+ subscription, gas savings, and free shipping with no minimum order. The retailer offers a 30-day free trial of this new service, which also picks up Walmart.com returns. Groceries can be placed at your door, brought into your garage, or put away neatly in your kitchen. With your membership, you will always get free same-day delivery on groceries and more, all at the same low prices as in-store.
Walmart has also been promoting its Walmart+ InHome, an In-Home Grocery Delivery service, which brings customers a wide selection of fresh groceries straight to their fridge even when they are not home.
