McDonald’s promotes some of its products and deals in a series of new ads, that encourage consumers to order ahead on the mobile app.
One of them, titled “Food at Home”, features a teenage boy in the backseat of the family’s car, listening to music in his headphones, and saying to himself: “Sure, there’s food at home. But is there a McDouble with extra pickles, a side of fries, and an icy drink at home? Don’t be ridiculous!”
Other spots promote the Sausage Burrito, with a cozy tortilla blanket, the Free Fries Friday, which gives customers free medium fries but only if they order on the app (the order must be of at least $1), the McMuffin, and more.
