Liberty Mutual has dropped a new ad for its Home Insurance and, this time, it pulls at people’s heart strings.

The 30-second spot opens with a Liberty Mutual representative stating that research shows people remember heartwarming ads so, to help viewers remember that Liberty Mutual customizes your home insurance, presents a touching moment.

The video then cuts to a scene in which a mother gives her daughter, on her wedding day, a necklace. “I want to give you something very special, that I wore on my wedding day,” the mom tells her daughter, who’s dressed in her bride gown, giving her a Statue of Liberty-shaped necklace. The young woman gasps and starts reading the text engraved inside the necklace, “Liberty Mutual customizes your home insurane so you only pay for what youneed”. She then almost bursts into tears and tells her mom she loves her.

The commercial ends with the Liberty Mutual jingle and the tagline “Only pay for what you need” appearing on the screen.

A previous commercial is based on the idea that people remember ads with a catchy song and features a couple of homeowners seeing a band of puppets performing a song about Liberty Mutual inside one of their walls. “Custom Home Insurance created for you all. Now the song is done, back to living in your wall,” the stuffed animals sing.

The Boston-based company, the sixth-largest auto and home insurer in the U.S., sells full lines of coverage for automobiles, homeowners, small commercial, valuable possessions, and personal liability insurance. It is famous for its ad campaigns featuring Doug and LiMu Emu, which was created with cutting-edge CGI technology.
