Samsung has released a new ad to showcases the IP67 water and dust resistance rating of its Galaxy A54 5G.
The spot features a Galaxy A54 5G owner whose smartphone is about to get hit by a frisbee. At this point, he recalls all the times the device got hit in the past by several other items, including a piece of meat in a restaurant where the chef was preparing the dish in front of him, a newspaper, and a chicken-shaped squishy toy for dogs.
Realizing that his Galaxy A54 is not affected at all by the “collision” with the frisbee, the young red-haired man cannot help exclaiming “Awesome!”.
A singer in the background says “Awesome is for everyone” whilst onscreen lines highlight that the phone is “Splash & ouch resistant”.
Launched as part of the brand’s successful Galaxy A lineup, the Galaxy A54 has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel that has FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and a camera system offering a variety of features, including Slow motion video, Pro mode, Hyperlapse, AR filters, and more.
