Lancome has made a strong start to Women’s History Month with a campaign that gathers the full Lancôme ambassador family in one ad.
The commercial, shot by rising director Emmanuel Adje, features Julia Roberts, who has been an ambassador for La Vie Est Belle since 2012, as well as a series of video portraits of her fellow muses Amanda Seyfried, Isabella Rossellini, Lily Collins, Penelope Cruz, Zendaya, along with new faces actress/model Hoyeon, and singer Aya “Coco” Nakamura, while in the background a reimagined version of “What a Wonderful World”, sung by women, plays.
The luxury French label invites audiences to join its global brand ambassadresses “as they sing in unison “What A Wonderful World”, a pure redefinition of happiness”. For the print campaign, they posed freely in front of the fashion photographer legend Mario Sorrenti, who captured the distinct essence of each of them. The celebrities have also shared their unique stories and what life means to them.
