Netflix Series: Sex/Life Season 2 - Trailer

Netflix has released a teaser for the second season of its steamy series Sex/Life, announcing that it would premiere on March 2nd.

The show, inspired by B.B. Easton’s memoir “44 Chapters About 4 Men”, revolves around Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi), a wife and mother who, after growing tired of her boring suburban life, begins journaling and fantasizing about her passionate exploits with her ex-boyfriend Brad (played by Adam Demos).

“Billie navigates new challenges – and fresh desires – as she lusts after the life she wants. But will she be able to have it all?” the official synopsis for the second season reads.

The cast also includes Mike Vogel as Billie’s husband, Margaret Odette as Sasha, Jonathan Sadowski as Devon and Li Jun Li as Francesca. There will also be additions to the cast this season, namely Wallis Day as Gigi, Cleo Anthony as Kam, Darius Homayoun as Majid, Dylan Bruce as Spencer and Craig Bierko as Mick.

At the end of the first season, Billie reconciled with her husband but ran back to Brad, hopeful they would rekindle their romance. However, the latter didn’t respond to her suggestion, leaving their potential future in the air.

“Not everyone has it. The desire to wake up. Stop sleepwalking through our lives. To stop trying to do the right thing while denying our truth. But those of us who do, we tread in dangerous waters. Because once you wake up, once you get even just a tiny taste, there’s no going back,” Shahi’s character says in voiceover, in the 60-second teaser.

Serving as soundtrack is “Love in the Cut” by Nineoneone.

Sex/Life S2 is coming to Netflix on March 2.
