Jordan Beyond Commercial Song

Jordan Beyond Basketball Player Girl Commercial

Jordan has launched a brand film to highlight that every step is a chance to fly.

The spot features images of a young basketball player during a game juxtaposed with footage of her as a child, when she began practicing this sport.

The moment she is a hit by another player and she falls to the groun generates a series of flashbacks from her early years. Supported by her parents, especially her father, who taught her how to play, the young girl grew up to become a competitive, resourceful player, who gives everything she can on the court.

Shots of her being lifted up by her mother as a baby are followed by shots of her jumping up high to score, for instance, all while in the background a cover of the 1970 song “Les Fleurs” by Minnie Riperton plays. Its lyrics include “Will somebody wear me to the fair? Will a lady pin me in her hair? For all of these simple things. A flower is born. If she looks within, she finds beauty and power. Ring all the bells, sing and tell people everywhere that the flower has come. Light up the sky with your prayers of gladness and rejoice for the darkness is gone.”

At the end of the commercial, the Beyond logo appears on the screen.
