Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming original film “Sharper”.
Directed by Emmy-winning “The Crown” director Benjamin Caron from a script written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, the neo-noir thriller stars Sebastian Stan and Julianne Moore as two con-artists who set their sights on a an outrageously wealthy businessman (John Lithgow). Moore plays a seductive single mother and Stan plays her disgraced son, who works his own angle to win a fortune.
“No one is who they seem in New York City’s bedrooms, barrooms, and boardrooms. Characters compete for riches and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust, and jealousy,” the official synopsis reads.
The cast also includes Justice Smith and Briana Middleton.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the movie action, without revealing too much, though. One thing is sure, though – things will not end well.
The song used in the trailer is “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande.
Sharper premieres in select theaters February 10 and on Apple TV+ February 17.
