Mercedes-Benz has partnered with SUPERPLASTIC and launched a new Superdackel character, inspired by the automaker’s classic Wackeldackel mascot, the “noddin dog” dashboard toy.
The automotive brand invites viewers to witness friendships form and see Superdackel transform into a modern-day pup in an animated short feauturing the adventures of Janky, Guggimon and their new pal Superdackel as they roll over and through New York City. There is drama, car chases, and even a magical space whale.
The soundtrack music is provided by St. Society’s single “Big Time (feat. Mr. Chantilly & Avila)”.
Mercedes-Benz announces exciting upcoming activations later this year. The Superdackel will also be launched as a giant 2.5-metre figure at the Mercedes-Benz CES stand.
“The brand has reinvented and reinterpreted its brand and vehicles for a modern, digital era – so why shouldn’t this iconic character receive an update, too?” Bettina Fetzer, Vice President Communications & Marketing at Mercedes-Benz AG, said in a press statement.
