Avocados from Mexico has released a teaser for its Super Bowl 2023 commercial, starring Anna Faris.
The spot opens with the voiceover saying “Since time began, there has been one fruit with the ability to change the world. One fruit that can alter history with one small bite. One fruit with the ability to make everything better.” Anna Faris shows up as Even in the Garden of Eden, looking at an avocado cut in half that she holds in her hands.
The video then suddenly ends, with the onscreen line “The world is about to get better” and the Big Game date, 02.12.2023.
The brand described the commercial as “a story as old as time, how one magical avocado could change the world as we know it” and Alvaro Luque, President & CEO of Avocados From Mexico, said in a press statement that, “Like Avocados From Mexico, Anna made everything better.” Luque described Faris as “a perfect fit for our Eve character – her energy and comedic timing brought the good times to the production. And like us, she loves avocados”. “We’re proud of how the ad turned out and excited to bring the goodness to gameday again this year,” he added.
