Walmart has released its World Cup-themed commercial, highlighting that it offers free delivery to every country in the United States with Walmart+.
Titled “Ever Country” the spot features a diverse cast of football fans of different ages, countries and walks of life having their Walmart orders delivered to their door, while they are spending time doing the things they love: watching their favorite team play. The people are shown living every minute of football games regardless of where they are – at the beath, in a laundromat, in a bar or at home, inside or in the backyard. The ad also shows Walmart employees delivering groceries to all these fans, who get thus to enjoy moments with family and friends, watching World Cup games.
The song used in the ad is “Howlin’ For You” by Piano Tribute Players. Written by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, the track was actually first released by The Black Keys in 2010. The version in the ad is included on the “Piano Tribute to The Black Keys” album.
Walmart has also been promoting its Walmart+ InHome, an In-Home Grocery Delivery service, which brings customers a wide selection of fresh groceries straight to their fridge, even when they are not home.
Walmart offers a 30-day free trial of this new service, which also picks up Walmart.com returns. Groceries can be placed at your door, brought into your garage, or put away neatly in your kitchen.
