BBC This Christmas on iPlayer Trailer / Advert Song

BBC has dropped a promo for this holiday season, giving viewers a glimpse at the shows and films they will be able to watch on iPlayer this Christmas.

The 40-second trailer is a montage of scenes from various series and movies, with characters saying their lines and resulting the following message: “make Christmas look cool, you know what I mean?”, “lights, music”, “I can see it now”. “Oh, it’s loud, it’s noisy, it’s perfect.” “Yes, yes, yes”.

BBC says that Happy Valley, Ghosts, The Cleaner, Strictly Come Dancing, That’s my Jam, Michael McIntyre’s, Christmas Wheel, 1917, Call the Midwife, Motherland, Blankety Blank and Bad Education are just some of the festive treats for you on iPlayer.

The song used in the trailer is Paloma Faith’s 2020 single “Gold”, from her fifth studio album, “Infinite Things”. The album is available for purchase on Amazon as Audio CD for $9.99, as MP3 Music for $11.99 and Vinyl for $16.92.

All BBC TV channels and S4C are available to watch live through BBC iPlayer. However, there are some programmes, though, that may not be available to stream online due to rights.
