Heineken, which signed up to a multi-year sponsorship deal with the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s Euros in 2021, highlights that Women make up almost half of soccer fans across the world and says cheers to that in its latest ad.
The 30-second spot depicts a diverse range of scenarios that illustrate how women who love football demonstrate their committment to the sport.
Facing bad weather to catch a game, living every single moment at the full and encouraging their favorite team from the side, suffering after a defeat, celebrating a victory by jumping and shouting out loud, and having a bottle of Heineken in a bar, while watching a game on TV, are only some of the situations featured in the ad.
“Cheers to all fans. Men included.” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which sees a group of three girl friends in a bar, giving their spare bottle of Heineken to the man sitting at a table next to them.
The soundtrack music is provided by “Never Walk Alone” performed by Dutch singer-songwriter Lorrèn.
The beer brand highlights that it is a proud sponsor of UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s Euro England 2022, and UEFA Champions League.
