Focus Entertainment has released the launch trailer for the new third-person action game Evil West.
In this videogame, from Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment, players become one of the last agents in a top-secret vampire-hunting institute and get to represent the final line between humanity and a deep-rooted terror that emerges from the shadows. Their mission is to become a Wild West Superhero, eradicate the vampire threat, and save the United States. How they can do that? By killing bloodthirsty monstrosities in style as a lone hunter or in co-op with a friend. Their range of weapons includes firearms, lightning-fueled gauntlets and gadgets. Players can also upgrade their weapons and hunting tools while exploring and fighting in a narrative-driven campaign, unlock new perks to evolve their monster-slaying mastery, and craft their own playstyle to ultimately defeat the supernatural hordes.
The music in the trailer is a cover of “The House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals whose lyrics include “My mother was a fighter, she trained me long ago, my father was a hunter down in Calico.”
Evil West is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One and PC. Shoppers who buy a physical copy from the Focus Entertainment Store will have exclusive reversible cover art.
