Burger King showcases its range of Royal Crispy Chicken burgers in a new ad, titled “Crown Up My Day”.
The spot features the Classic Royal Crispy Chicken, made with crispy white meat breast fillet topped with royal sauce, lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on a toasted potato bun, the Italian Royal Crispy Chicken, made with crispy white meat breast fillet topped with marinara sauce and melty Mozzarella cheese on a toasted potato bun, the Spicy Royal Crispy Chicken, made with crispy white meat breast fillet coated with triple pepper spicy glaze, topped with savory sauce, lettuce and juicy tomatoes on a toasted potato bun, and the Bacon & Swiss Cheese Royal Crispy Chicken, made with crispy white meat breast fillet topped with royal sauce, creamy swiss cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce and juicy tomatoes on a toasted potato.
The soundtrack music is an original remix of the “Have it Your Way” jingle, which was first introduced in the 1970s. Its lyrics include “Chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken, Italian, Spicy, Bacon & Swiss, Classic. Take one bite and it all starts clicking. Crown up my day.” The chorus is “You rule, you’re seizing the day at BK. Have it your way!”.
The spot is the latest installment in the chain’s new “You Rule” campaign, which debuted on October 10 and was described as “a play on the QSR chain’s mascot and famous paper crowns in an effort to deliver the message that Burger King guests are royalty”.
