Shakira and Burnaboy set a boldly festive season in motion in Burberry’s Holiday 2022 campaign, titled “The Night Before”.
Directed by Torso Solutions, the 60-second ad features Shakira and Burna Boy – who are making their Burberry debut – embodying their own interpretation of the exhilaration of the night before. Shakira is shown rocking various looks and standing on formal dinner tables that turn into a Burberry runaway. Burna Boy, on the other hand, is shown like a Santa striding across freshly fallen snow wearing a pair of black wings and a sack filled with gift boxes.
The collection includes beige car coats, tulle gowns with the Equastrian Knight Design, classic menswear suits, as well as accessories.
Shakira and Burna Boy have been working with Julia Sarr-Jamois for styling, Jordi Fontanals for hair styling, and Vass Theotokis for make-up.
The music for the campaign film was composed by Ville Haimala.
